Tottenham may not get the help of star striker Harry Kane when they play against Everton today as the England captain is struggling with illness.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are back on Merseyside today after losing 2-1 to Liverpool last Sunday at Anfield.
Spurs are looking to capitalise on the points dropped by rivals Manchester United and Arsenal on Saturday and will no doubt be looking for a repeat of their 6-2 win at Goodison Park last season.
However, they could be without skipper Kane as football.london reports that the striker has been suffering from illness in the last 24 hours.
Kane’s absence would be a huge blow for Pochettino, who is facing increasing pressure over his position at the club.
The forward has bagged ten goals in 12 appearances this term and has maintained a decent performance level despite the club’s results.

Son Heung-Min could, therefore, be handed a striker role and Lucas Moura could come into the side after starting as a substitute against Liverpool last week.
